Michael is a proud resident of Kansas City, MO and is working diligently within his community to revolutionize the field of funeral services. Mike was born in Kansas City, MO. Upon his graduating from high school Mike furthered his education at the University of Central Oklahoma where he received his bachelors in Science of Funeral Services. He moved back to Kansas City and immediately began his quest to fulfill his destiny in the funeral industry by gaining as much knowledge as possible which led to him earning a Masters in Business Management from Webster University. He is a Trusted Partner at Memorial Church International. He is an active member of Widow Sons #17 in Kansas City, KS, he also is apart of Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Embalmer & Funeral Director
Taryn grew up in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Following graduation from high school in 2007, Taryn began attending Kansas City Kansas Community College. Taryn received her Mortuary Science degree in 2009 and is a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director in both Missouri and Kansas.
Taryn is also a graduate of Fountain National Academy, which is an extensive series of seminars that focus on post-mortem reconstruction. Taryn strives to provide families with a pleasant final viewing experience. She continues to learn and stay updated on the latest information and techniques in order to better serve families during their time of need.
Funeral Director/Pre-Need Agent
Ryan N. Strickland, Sr., was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, and later relocated to Grandview, Missouri when he was eight years old. He graduated from Grandview Senior High School in 1998 and attended Longview Community College.
Ryan began his career with Serenity Funeral Home in 2015. He began as a contracted musician for Serenity, and later became a Funeral Assistant. While working as a Funeral Assistant, he was seeking to do more in the community regarding funeral service, and serving families in Kansas City and the surrounding areas. He became an Apprentice Funeral Director. During his time as an apprentice, Ryan was able to serve grieving families all over the area.
Ryan did not attend mortuary school, but was able to study independently for the Missouri required State Laws and Arts Exams. He successfully passed the Missouri Law Examination in 2021 and the Missouri Arts Examination in 2022, and is now serving as a Licensed Funeral Director, and as a Preneed Agent Funeral Director.
