From my first call to Serenity Funeral Home to inquire about arrangements for my husband, Elder Casey Darnell Hayes, Sr.'s unexpected passing, I knew everything would be alright. The funeral director and staff were extremely kind and compassionate. The facility is beautifully decorated with a calming atmosphere. I was genuinely impressed with everything, especially their kindness and attention to detail helped me from the first family viewing, obituary cover and design, head panel, and the Serenity tribute (the song choice was exceptional and fitting to my husband's character), video presentation, balloon release, and limousine rides. In addition to this, the funeral director and staff did an excellent job organizing all the funeral arrangements. I also want to thank them for the thoughtful and meaningful words at the burial site. Indeed, their care, professionalism, and personable jobs were amazing. I would never be able to thank them enough for taking me from a bewildered state to one of peace and comfort that I have now. I will be forever grateful for their service.

I can not say enough about the great service that we received at Serenity Funeral Home! They made this transition easy and pain free. Ryan Strickland was awesome! He made it feel like a family affair. He turned our tears of sorrow into tears of joy and laughter remembering our loved one, Gerald Hicks! I still smile thinking about his kindness. I can't imagine getting through this process without Ryan. I would recommend Serenity Funeral Home to anyone who is need of this service because we all must go this way one day.

When I say y’all did y’all thing with my twin brothers services OMG it was amazing. The staff was also great thanks Corey for all your help your were so patient, kind, and very understanding with my family. This is Black History Month February 4, 2022 and I want to give praise where it is due. 365 days Serenity funeral home has been awesome. May 1, 2021 my sister Debra L Robinson Service was here here and it was beautiful they did an awesome job ..all the staff I encountered were very knowledgeable welcoming and friendly. . Today another family member home going Charles Gratten my step brother … this tells you that Serenity is the best …we have had so many home going’s since Serenity first open their doors and I just want to thank them for all of their blessed and highly favored work from the Lord. My mother’s services were beautifully handled. Everything was extremely professional and so easy. Ryan and Michelle really outdid themselves and whatever request I had, they did. Mama’s request was to go through Serenity and I would not have had it any other way.

I Have had family service there before and I Think some of your funeral Directors need to have more compassion &patience whit family when they have lost a Love One.

The staff at Serenity Funeral Home was nothing less than professional when my husband passed away. From the time I had to call them at 1 a.m. all the way through the day of the burial they were always accommodating to my needs and those of my family. It is coming up on 3 years since my son and my sister-in-love passed away, if it were not for Serenity I do not think I would have been able to handle loosing two people so close to me within 12 days of each other. My son passed away in New York and Mike handled everything from start to finish. He brought my son home and we were able to give him a beautiful service. With our back to back services, Mike and his staff were compassionate and understanding, I would not trust my family with any other funeral home but Serenity. In a twinkling of an eye my sister and I were faced with the daunting task of planning the final farewell of our mom Kathlean Love. The voice of mom lingering in our minds "put me away nicely" coupled with opinions of others my sister and I reached out to Mike Atkins at Serenity Funeral Home.
Somewhere early in the meeting Mr. Atkins wisdom had to of picked up on the mental fatigue and anticipation of the unknown of the in/out of funeral service/burial options and tactfully moved the meeting along without all the pre probing questions. I'd anticipated he ask HOW MUCH OF AN INSURANCE POLICY, OR CASH ON HAND before quoting service amounts. He did the TOTAL OPPOSITE.... He laid before us what SERENITY FUNERAL HOME offer as package deals, cremations, grave side service and al carte if needed. It was at this time we presented the policy and he and his team handled the rest. Once he knew the amount he didn't go back and attempt to oversell.
Although impressed at this time, It kept getting better every step of the way. The services rendered from start to finish was nothing short of THE BEST.... Thanks to the entire Serenity Family!!!!

My grandmother passed away April 9th 2019...and I have to say that Serenity did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! My grandmother aka Mama never wore makeup in her life and Serenity made her look flawless with not one trace of lipstick,mascara etc...My grandmother was a saved,sanctified,Holy Ghost filled woman of God and Serenity never losted sight in that and prepared her with grace and compassion....I know that my grandmother was pleased but more importantly the Lord was also....job well done...Thank you again Serenity from the bottom of my heart.

Our family has always used the same two funeral homes for all of our burials needs in the past. I had never even heard of Serenity Memorial Chapel until a relative put me in contact with the owner. Mike was professional from the very beginning.The staff at Serenity starting with the Funeral Director and everyone else went above and beyond in making sure this difficult time was the best experience for my family. Mike delivered on everything that was expected and went above beyond those expectations. Never thought in a million years that I would have to be responsible for making sure my father's burial would be perfect. After a long illness and over 20 years of paying for life insurance, I just knew this process would be simple. After finding out that the insurance policy that had been paid for for several year, with the most recent payment being paid only five days prior to his death, to find out the policy was No good and was worthless at this emotional time in our life, we contacted Serenity Memorial who ensured us that they could work with us to ensure that my father's burial would be nothing less than memorable. They were sensitive and understanding to our needs and our situation. Despite our financial mishap, we were treated like a million bucks from start to finish. THANKS SERENITY MEMORIAL CHAPEL.

One week before Thanksgiving my sister in law gave birth to my niece who was stillborn. I called Serenity and the owner was so caring and sensitive to our needs during our time of bereavement, he had even worked around my work schedule. The day before Thanksgiving my family was able to view her, she was such a beauty. The cremation was done and she was shipped to my mother in California. Our expectations were exceeded and then some.
