Nicole Martin

Nicole Martin, 48, passed away on May 13, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center. She was born on April 2, 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Alphonso Gentry and Regina Martin. Her exuberance and ambition showed at an early age, fostering relationships and goals she carried with her into her adult life.

A modern renaissance woman, Nicole briefly studied nursing, radiology, acting, and radio broadcasting before ultimately committing to a pursuit of voice acting. She accepted experience wherever opportunity pushed her, so stints in various industries were - for her - progress all the same. Nicole mothered three children to whom she imparted a similar open-mindedness. She attended UMKC where, in 2010, she received a Bachelors in Communications.

While building her portfolio and learning the foundations of her chosen path, she began work for FedEx Ground as a Coordinator Operator where she worked for three years. The energy that Nicole carried with her impacted everyone in her path. She was a woman of action, of thought, of passion, and of love. Everyone she came into contact with will be able to carry that energy she gave in her honor, and give it in kind.

She is survived by; her children: Xavier Martin, Ke’Onia Fletcher, and Savion Martin; her grandchildren: Jeremih Hardin, Jaden Hardin, Jah’Shaun Hardin, and Keron Swift-Fletcher; her
parents: Regina Martin and Alphonso Gentry; her siblings: Alfonzo Williams, Mario Williams, Ndidiamaka Oyetunbi, Chinyere Oyetunbi, Ikenna Oyetunbi and beautifully innumerable amount
of loved ones.
