Anthony Harden Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Lee Harden, was born August 14, 1954 to Harold L. "Teeny" Harden and Frances L. Rucker in Kansas City, Mo.  He was the oldest of three boys.  He attended school within the Kansas City School District, and in 1972 he graduated from Central High School.

He was employed with General Motors for 33 years before retiring in 2009.  He was a member of the local UAW.  He married Evelyn Harden and two children were born from that union.  After retirement, Tony vowed to never work again and up until his final breath he was successful.

If you knew Tony, you know he loved the Kansas City Chiefs!!  During football season you would find him in Chiefs wear in front  of the TV with his air horn, and beverage of choice.  He spent the other part of the time with his friends and family.  Tony took his final breath on August 2, 2020.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Frances L. Rucker; and his brother, Ernie Harden.

Those left to cherish and remember him are his father, Harold "Teeny" L. Harden (Bernedette); his brother, Dennis Harden (Penney); his children, Timothy and Kelley Harden;  two granddaughters, Khamedriah and Khamrin Grimes; a sister-in-law, Greta L. Harden, along with cousins, nieces, great nieces and nephews extended family and a host of friends.
