Minnie Fuller

Minnie McCowan was born April 5, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Ms. Annie Lee Williams and Robert McCowan. Raised in Dallas until she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas with her uncle; Albert and aunt, Tina where she was schooled. At the age of 17 she moved to Kansas City, Mo to live with her mother. She would then meet her soon to be future husband, Richard A. Fuller. Richard and Minnie were married on April 20, 1958 and to this union produced 4 children.

Minnie finished her education at Penn Valley Community College where she studied Dental Technology. She enjoyed her work taking care of the underprivileged and troubled youth during her time at Della C. Lamb and Niles Home for children. She then opened and managed her restaurant in KCMO with her husband and mother. She was an extraordinary woman who believed in hard work and chasing her dreams.

Richard and Minnie decided to dedicate their lives to Christ and brought their family to 35th street MB church under the leadership of the late Pastor R.C Black. Minnie supported the call on her husband’s life as he was a deacon and later an ordained minister. Richard then would become the Pastor and founder of Universal MB church and Bishop. Minnie became an ordained Evangelist under the Pastorialship of Bishop Richard Fuller. She would work tirelessly and faithfully over the next 20 years along side her husband as First Lady of Universal. During this time Minnie felt her calling was as a humble public servant, taking in single mothers and children, and anyone who needed shelter. Her mission was to minister the word of God and provide endless unconditional love to everyone she came in contact with. She became a mother and grandmother to many people. Minnie truly was a beautiful, spiritual, smart, loving, compassionate classy Lady. She has departed this earthly life for her heavenly home and will never be forgotten, her legacy lives on!

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and eldest daughter, Vickie E. Dunn. She leaves to cherish her memory son: Richard A. Fuller Jr., daughters: Donnetta A. Cole, Pastor Angie I. Sims, sister and brother: Evangelist Callie Brown (Milton), Reverend Leon Nelson (Fredie). Adopted daughters: Audrey Marshall (John), Eunice Francis (Jameson), Michelle Nelson. Grandchildren: Nikisha Fuller (Larry), Virnisha Fuller, Christina Cole, DeAnthony Green (Ravion), Rashanda Fuller, Kristy Reed, Daniel Cole, Douglas Weatherspoon, Kelsey Fuller, Chelsey Fuller, Ashley Cole, Aaron Sims, Brandon Cole, Richard Fuller III, and Alex Cole. Great Grandchildren: Nicholas, Neya, Nakeya, Nieko, Larry, Colby, David, Rylan, Soleil, Douglas Jr., Ethan, Nyla, DeAnthony Jr., Zoey, DeMekio Jr., James, Prissy, Lisa, Crystal, DeAnthony Jr., Caleb, Lacey, Alice, America, Annaliese, Aiden, Adaleii, Aubrey, Adelynn. Great-Great Grandchild: Levi.
