Xavier Stovall Obituary

Mr. Xavier D. Stovall 21, (The Stove) transitioned to heaven on May 7, 2023, in Columbia, MO. He was born on September 15, 2001, in Kansas City, Missouri to Lazona Stovall and Arthur T. Wilson, Jr. Xavier grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and his primary education was from St. Peters, St. Regis and Christ the King. During those times he volunteered to help others with reading. He graduated in 2020 from Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Missouri. While attending Rockhurst he worked at Literacy KC (Adult Literacy) until Covid. During his time at Rockhurst High School he played freshman football, football manager, found his love in Choir for 3 years which led to performing at Kaufmann Performing Arts Center, designed Halloween costumes for wheelchair bound children (Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes), and truly transitioned from boy to a man as he developed a brotherhood with his friends and community.

After high school he attended Wichita State University in Wichita Kansas where he studied Engineering. While at Wichita State University, Xavier was accepted in the Cohen’s Honor’s Program and received scholarship funds for his water bottle invention. Xavier rededicated his life to Christ and began to touch all he met while working with his gym. Xavier found Jacob’s Strength Training and began to prepare for Strong Man Competition’s. He was training to compete and receive his pro card. Xavier wanted to live international to compete and continue to share his faith with others. Xavier could light up a room with his smile and he touched everyone in his circle and beyond, Xavier had a love of cars, travel, music, spending time with the friends and loved ones. He was always willing to help.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Charlene Wilson; and sister, Brea White.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lazona T. Stovall; father, Arthur T. Wilson, Jr (Barbara); siblings, Xander D. Stovall of the home, Dorian DeFrance, Siera Wilson, Arthur T. Wilson, III, Kori McCrary, and Shantel Wilson; grandmother, Sheron L. Blaylock; grandfather, David Brown; paternal grandparents, Arthur T. Wilson, Sr (Ruth); Nathaniel Townes (Jordan) and Terelle Murray; god-mother, Zipporah Thomas; aunt, Mrs. Tamara Vaughn and family, Brandon and Nakia Lane; (The Boys), and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and colleagues.
