William (Billy) Earl Brown Sr.,52, was born on September 2, 1971, to William Earl Baker Sr. and Linda Marie Brown-Williams in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Marie Brown-Williams, grandmothers, Nadine Baker, and Lena Mae Brown; Aunts Lena Bomar, Mary Ann Brown- Jones, and Jannie Mae Chisholm; Uncles Richard Baker Jr., and Chuck Brown.
Billy was a lifelong area resident and was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri public schools. He attended Southeast High School where he played football. Billy dedicated his life to Christ at an early age at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He later became a member of the usher board as well as a deacon under the leadership of Rev. Lee E. Freeman Sr. Billy was an entrepreneur by heart and worked as a contractor where he started Allied Remodeling, a local contracting company. Upon his passing, he worked as a maintenance technician for Sentinel Real Estate Corporation
Billy served as a member of the Southeast High School Alumni Association Inc., Rone Lodge #25 of Kansas City, MO, and also volunteered with the Kansas City chapter of the National Kidney Foundation. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, determined, and unstoppable. Billy had an enormous heart and would lend a helping hand with no questions asked. He especially held up this principle when it came to family. Billy was known and loved by countless individuals. Some of the compliments that he’s received the most have been for his presence as a father figure to many, his don’t take no for an answer attitude, his mentorship, and most of all his perseverance as well as resilience throughout life. BILLY NEVER GAVE UP!
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, William (Linda) Baker Sr., a special Aunt Margaret Brown; Ten siblings; Joy (Jerry) Glenn, Julia (Walter) Keith, Lachelle (Brandon) McKinzy, DelShone McDonald, DeNette Baker, DeAntonio (Tasha) Brown, Jocelyn Pettit, Douglass Coleman, William Baker Jr.(BJ), and Syretta (Aaron) Pearson; Seven children, Darrica (Darren Sr.)Tyler, Deondric Davis, Rashawnda (Terron Sr.) Jackson, Amyah Ellis, Zayden Brown, Willow Brown, and William Brown Jr.; Seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a Best Friend Marc Beachem.
