Wanda Randolph Obituary

Wanda Randolph, 73, passed away on July 8, 2021, at St. Lukes East Hospital, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri . She was born on December 14th , in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarance Reed and BettyJean Randolph Woodard, who both proceeded her in death. She graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Wanda worked for the federal government for several years, to include the Office of Personnel Management and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Kansas City. She retired from the Kansas City Water Department as an Administrative Professional. Wanda was a faithful member of Gilbert Memorial AME Church, Kansas City, Missouri, where she was Member of the Stewardesses Board, the choir and had served as President of the Mary Elizabeth Missionary Society. Wanda had also volunteered on multiple occasions to be the chairperson for Women’s Day and other church committees.

She is survived by five children, Ericka Byers, Brandon Byers (Stacie), Monique Robinson, Terrance Blanks, and Shannon Randolph ; One brother, Reginald Nelson (Geraldine), one sister, Kelly Broadway, one sister by love, Gloria Gines, five grand grandchildren, six nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial will follow at XII Gates Cemetery -9934 Bannister Rd Kansas City, Missouri

We, the family of Wanda Jean Randolph, want to thank you for your kindness during our time of loss. Whether you expressed care via flowers, spent time with us, prayed with and for us, sent cards, had food delivered, or spoke kind words at our loved ones service, “thank you.”

During these tumultuous times of COVID, we are grateful for you attending in person and/or on-line in the Celebration of Life for Wanda. Please know that your sacrifices don’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.

May our God continue to bless and keep you in His care. Please continue to pray for us as we pray for you and your loved ones.
