Walter E. Strickland passed away September 23, 2020 in his home. Walter was born July 15, 1932 in Rosedale, KS and was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO where he resided with wife, Mary (Key) Strickland of 66 years. 

Walter and Mary were the parents of 9 children (preceded in death 2 sons Terry Grimmett and Jeffrey J. Strickland) Walter leaves behind his wife Mary Strickland (children Barron Grimmett (Linda) Los Angeles, CA, Walter E. Strickland Jr. Houston, TX, Kenneth W. Strickland (Vernia) Tacoma, WA, Yvonne Leathers Kansas City, MO, Leonard Strickland Kansas City, MO, Wanda Strickland Spring, TX, Joyce Davis Lee’s Summit, MO.
