Trevion Winston McAfee

Sorrow comes in great waves...but it rolls over us, and though it may almost smother us.it passes and we remain.

Our Trey was caring, loving, and had a joyous spirit about him which made him shine; he liked to be the center of attention. In life and now in death, he wouldn't want us to focus on him. He wouldn't want us to focus on the sadness of his death, but instead focus on the happiness in our lives. He would want us to appreciate each other and our future.

Trey attended the Metropolitan Community College of Kansas City Mo. A young man as loving as Trey will always be remembered by those of us who knew him and loved him. Although we will miss him, his smile, his kisses, his love, his generosity, we take consolation in the good feelings of our memories. Trevion, age 19 of South Kansas City, passed away on Sunday, July 27th in the Indian Creek while socializing with friends. Trevion was born March 3, 2001 in Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed doing what most 19 year old young men do, dancing, singing, playing video games, texting, going to the movies and hanging out with his friends and family. Trey also loved animals, listening to music, and walking.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially getting in the water. He loved holidays. Thanksgiving was a favorite because it was a time to over eat. His favorite was getting dressed up for Halloween and trick-or-treating. He also loved Easter, 4th of July and Christmas. 

Most importantly, Trevion had a deep love for all of his family, and cherished the time they would spend together talking and working out his problems with his friends, playing practical jokes on each other, and enjoying family dinners together.

He leaves behind his mother Shakeita McAee Williams, his siblings Terrell Williams and Taniesha Ngugi, and his Grandmother Barbara McAfee who he called Gigi. Also surviving are his aunts, Terri McAfee James, (Lewis); and uncles Ronald McAfee Sr., (Tanya); Glenn McAfee, (Selma); Bruce McAfee. Special cousins, Marquita McAfee,(Justin); Chris McAfee and Jayanna Charles, Naquita Williams, (Roy), Ronald McAfee Jr., Gregory Thomas, Terrell Thomas, Lyric Benton, Montario McAfee, Laniesha, his niece Tanner and nephew TJ and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
