Theresa Medley Obituary

Elder Theresa Ann Medley was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin July 4, 1959 to Thomas Ernest Medley and Vivian Marie Smith. She was proceeded in death by her sister Tonya Medley.

Elder Medley graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in Washington, D.C.   She also attended Joyce Williams University of Cosmetology in Kansas City, Missouri where she received her cosmetology and instructors license.  She studied at Kansas City, Kansas Community College in Kansas City, Kansas.  She received an Associate degree from Faith Bible College. 

Elder Medley own and operated a hair salon, worked in nursing, worked as a correctional officer, and for the United States Postal Service.

Elder Medley accepted Christ and joined and served as a leader at Trinity Church of God In Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop W.B. Henderson and First Lady Mary Lee Henderson.  She was a member and Elder at Memorial International Church under the leadership of Bishop Larry B. Aiken & Pastor Olivia C.Q. Aiken. 

Elder Theresa Ann Medley departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at home surrounded by family and friends.

In loving Memory she leaves: 5 kids, Daughter LaTonya McKinney (Darrell ), Daughter Vivian Pace, Son Victor Pace Jr, Son Vincent Pace and Daughter Victavia Pace. Her Mother and Father Vivian and Clyde Smith (North Carolina) and her Father and Mother Thomas Ernest and Jean Medley (Indianapolis Indiana). 7 siblings  Sister Carolyn Whitney (Kansas City, Mo), Brother  Stephen Foster(Tabatha) (Stone Mountain, GA), Sister Shena Medley (Honolulu Hawaii), Sister Janine Mosetlhi (Oratile) (south Africa), Brother Thomas Medley JR (Lisa) (Milwaukee Wi), Sister Nysha Ten Hove (Art) (Milwaukee, Wi), Brother  Tori Medley (Milwaukee Wi), Special Friend J. Knox, and grandchildren Deon Mckinney, Dezmond Mckinney, Darrell Mckinney lll, Mckinzie Pace, Davion Mckinney, Shannon Quinn, Memphis Pace, Deonté Parks.  A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and non-biological children.
