Tamala Holland Obituary

Tamala Rechelle Holland “Tam” was born July 24,1971 in Kansas City, Mo to Effie Holland and Scott Gregory. Tamala was a lifelong resident of  Kansas City, MO and graduated from Southeast High School in 1989. Tamala gave birth to her first son Clyde III that same year, followed by her youngest son DaQuon in 1994 they were her world.  

Tamala had many talents she obtained her cosmetology license which she maintained. She also worked in the nursing field and as a paralegal. She had been employed by Fed-Ex for 12+ years until her untimely passing.  

Tamala was the “KC Diva” she enjoyed shopping, traveling, and was a collector of many things. Tamala loved making others smile. Tamala’s life changed in 2016 with the birth of her first grandchild “baby Clyde” then again in 2021 with the birth of her second grandchild “baby Mason”. She was also ecstatic about the arrival of her third grandchild due in 2022.  She lived her life for her sons and grandsons. She loved them to the end of the earth. If you knew her you knew she was always smiling.

Tam was proceeded in death by Early George (grandfather), Lorraine Williams (grandmother), David Holland III (brother) Joseph Williams and Miles Williams (uncles), Dorothy Smith (aunt)

She leaves to carry on her legacy, her parents Effie Holland and Scott Gregory. Her sons Clyde Turner III (Toya) and DaQuon Williams (Lasadie Simmons); Grandsons Clyde Turner IV and Mason Williams; Brothers Scott Gregory Jr., Dwayne and Darryl Holland; Sisters Tracy and Robin Gregory; Nephews Dominic, Darryl, and Devon Holland; And a Host of other cousins, family and friends.
