Shavonne Logan Obituary

Let me start by saying…

My mom and dad created me with the help of God and when I was delivered on, December 31, 1984, my parents, Sharon R. Logan and Russell Logan, Sr., were the proudest people on earth. At an early age, they made sure that I received Christ into my life.

Now, I started talking (a lot) before I was walking, up until my last flight. I boarded on the wings of destiny on, October 1, 2021, with a one-way ticket and no return. I attended school in the Kansas City MO school system.

But, before I forget, let me tell you a little bit about my life. I loved reading, being informed about what was going on in the world, writing, poetry, drawing, creating healthy hair and body products by using essential oils, watching movies, and most of all creating and cooking meals to please, and yes, they all were tasty.

Also, while I was occupied doing things I like, I worked full and part time jobs at Alpha Pointe until God decided for me to take a trip. I previously worked for Dollar General Distribution Center, Things Remembered at Metro North Mall, Manuloso Thrift Store, and Bath & Body Works.

I will surely be missed for my recipes, essential oils for the hair and body, my smile, and my humble demeanor. Anything I didn’t know, I researched to get the answers. Funny though, I guess God needed a creative cook, lol.

Well people if you want to you can look for me in the evening sunset or with the earliest Spring daffodils, or on a snowy last day of December before the snowman melts. You know I’ll be there to help you do your cooking in one form or another. Of course, that will probably comfort some while antagonizing others, but you know me family…it’s what I do.

I’ll leave you all with these memories dear best friend and mom, Sharon Logan (Russell Sr.); brother, Russell Logan, Jr. (Vanessa); wagons full of nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends; my twin, Amanda Logue, and my very special friend, Mark Taylor.
