Ronald Sanders

Ronald S Sanders 70 passed away on 10/7/2020 at Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park in Overland Park Kansas. He was born 2/25/1950 in Kansas City Ks to Johnny Sanders and Annie Lou Sanders. He grew up in Kansas City Mo. He graduated from Manuel Highschool in Kansas City Mo. He started working odd and end jobs at the age of 8. After high school he joined the army in 1969 and served for 2 years. He then began work for Union Pacific Railroad as a welder and foreman where he worked for 23 years and retired. He was an entrepreneur. He owned and operated Catfish Cabin in two locations in the Kansas City area, during that time they were the #1 fish and chicken restaurant in the city. He owned Realestate and wrote sung and produced two albums under his record company “Show Me Records”. Songs that people new and grew to love where “Lady Luck” and “ I believe in Magic”. He had a strong passion for music and cooking, every time he would eat out he had to get a menu to take home to study recipes. His smile was contagious and he brightened the room with it. He loved to sing and he played several instruments. He never met a stranger and if you needed help he always gave it. His favorite saying was” it will be alright”. His children and grandchildren were dear to his heart. His wife Ruby helped him tremendously after his first stroke while going through health issues of her own and she loved him dearly.  Ronnie will forever be missed and his legacy will forever live on. He was married to Ruby Darlene Brager 11/21/2012 in Kansas City Mo. They were happily married for 8 years. He was preceded into death by Johnny Sanders (Father), Annie Lou Sanders (Mother), Retha Mae Sanders(first wife),  Ferguson Sanders (brother), Bernard Johnson (brother). He is survived by Ruby Darlene Brager(wife), Refoni Mccoy (daughter,spouse of Refoni Mccoy Is Mr. Rochell Mccoy she has 3 children Ralencia Sanders Ria Clark and Retha Sanders), Ronald C Sanders(Son, the spouse of Ronald C Sanders is Rachel Sanders they have one child Ronald Agangu Sanders), Tiffany Brager (daughter she has one child Taylor Williams ), Joe Watson Sr (son he has three children Joseph Watson Jr), Nichol Washington (daughter, spouse of Nichol Washington is Keith Washington they have 4 children),Nicholas Brager(son, spouse of Nicholas Brager is Regina Brager he has 1 child Nikkia Brager ), Tominisha Sanders (daughter she has 3 children ), Earl miller(son) and Sir Patrick Roberts(son). GRANDKIDS-Ralencia Sanders, Ria Clark, Retha Clark, Taylor (Tator Tot) Williams, Ronald Agangu Sanders, Nikkia Brager, Joseph Watson JR and Cynee Smith. Ronalds siblings are Yolanda Vessel (sister), Van Rowe Sanders (brother), Keith Sanders (brother) and Wayne Sanders (brother) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to family and friends. Ronnie loved and helped so many people and we Thank You all.
