Richard Andrew Pierson Jr. was born on September 21, 1982 to Valerie Coppage-Staton/Atlanta, Georgia and Richard Pierson, Sr., in Overland Park Kansas. Richard was the oldest son of nine children on both sides. God decided, Richard’s earthly journey was done, and he received his wings on Saturday, June 27, 2021. Richard was baptized at Sheffield Family Center (KCMO) by Rev. Westlake, Pastor. He was preceded in death by his Bonus Mom; Gayle Pierson, Grandmothers; Margaret Coppage and JoAnnie Childress, and Grandfathers; Junior Gene Wright and Travis Pierson.
He loved attending New City Church, in Fairburn, Georgia. Richard attended elementary school in the Center District and graduated from Hickman Mills High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Vatterott College to become an Electrical Mechanic. He also took welding courses.
In Kansas City, Richard worked for Operation Breakthrough. When he moved to Georgia, he worked at Bunzl Distribution. The last job he had was at Heritage Bag Company in Villa Rica, Georgia. His job experience included: forklift driver, janitorial maintenance, cook, lineman, and lawn care. He was upcoming Musical Artist. His dream was to start his own a lawncare business and he was in the beginning stages of developing his dream.
He loved to write, rap, and produce music. He also loved sports, reading, playing arcade games, fishing, karate and cooking. Richard was creative, charismatic, protective, helpful, loveable, loved by children, stern, yet a gentle giant.

He had four brothers: Randy Coppage, Kansas City, MO, Michael Pettit (Lydia) Lithonia, GA; Ramond Coppage, Mableton, GA and Rahjahn Pierson. He had four sisters: Michelle Coppage Lawrenceville, GA, Rahsheeba Pierson, Kansas City, MO, Rahshaan Pierson, Kansas City, MO, and Rikaah Pierson, Kansas City, MO.
