He continued his higher learning attending Rockhurst University and graduating with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
Raymond worked for the Internal Revenue Service for many years. His hobbies were playing the acoustic and electric guitar, enjoying good food, writing, and discussing topics of interest with anyone who would listen. He loved his family, making and giving out quizzes, and learning interesting facts.
Preceding him in death are: his parents, Henry and Leira Kinard; and a brother Warren D. Nelson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: 4 brothers, Terrance D. Kinard, Joseph H. Kinard, Lewis L. Kinard (Mary), all of Kansas City, Mo, and Claude A.
