Radford “Bootsy” Moore Jr. Was born May 9, 1962 in Kansas City Missouri to Laurice Moore and Radford Moore Sr.
Radford professed Christ at an early age. Radford got his education in the Kansas City Missouri School District attended Southeast High School as well as Southwest High School. He was employed at General Mills as a young lad and was later employed at I.T. Diamond until his health began to decline.
Radford was a very artistic person in his younger years. He loved to cook as well as eat. Radford was a melophile (one who loves music!!) He was also a Fashionista, Fashion Guru, Style-maker a Fashion Icon. He was ALWAYS dapper (neatly and stylishly dressed) Radford was a great narrator he could tell you a story like no other. Radford was a sweet, kindhearted person who was always giving, but most of all “Bootsy” had a deep love for his family (Mainly his Mother) He was a Momma’s boy. He also had lots of love for all of his friends.
Radford departed this life May 4, 2020 at Truman Medical Center. He was proceeded in death by his Daughter Tyrah Diamond; Grandson Terrell Diamond Jr.; Father Radford Moore Sr.; Sister Jan Moore; Grandmothers Watie Phillips and Lula B. Oliver; Nephew Jamal A. Moore Sr. and a host of aunts and uncles.
He leaves to forever cherish his memories: one son Terrell Diamond Sr., one step son Terrance Diamond both of Pheonix Arizona; two step daughters Takiyah Diamond of Pheonix Arizona, Tandra Diamond of Kansas City Mo.; The mother of his children Cheryl Diamond of Kansas City Mo one grandson Terrence Diamond; one granddaughter Journee Gee both of Kansas City Mo; his mother Laurice Moore; one sister Donna Moore both of Kansas City Missouri; one brother Orlando Ross Sr. Of Minneapolis Minnesota; four nieces La’Toya Moore, La’Trice Moore both of Kansas City Mo., Joy Ross, Jazlynn Ross both of Minneapolis Minnesota; two nephews Orlando Ross Jr., Armond Ross both of Minneapolis Minnesota, three great nephews Der’Riq Moore, Jamal Moore Jr., and De’Yon Moore all of Kansas City Missouri; Cousin/Brothers Charles Dennis, Brian Dennis and Sylvester Young Jr. Friend/Brothers Thomas Taylor, Nathanial Taylor, Leon James; a special friend Glenda Hill, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and “Neighborhood Family” (55th / 56th Street)
