Quenten Maurice Hurt

Quenten Maurice Hurt, 25, passed away on July 12th, 2017 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born on Dec 8th, 1991, in Kansas City, Mo to Stephanie Malone. He grew up in Kansas City, MO. After high school, he attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. He started a degree in law. He wanted to start his own business in real estate. Quenten or Maurice and let us not forget Munchie or Boo was loved by so many people for his large heart and nobody can forget that infectious smile. Also, if you were having an intellectual conversation with him, he was ready for the debate.

There wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for anyone who needed him. Maurice would travel miles to help his family. He always did it with sincerity and a warm smile. He loved each and every one of us. He influenced our lives and motivated us to keep chasing our dreams. He is missed and will forever be in our hearts. Maurice would want us to know we are all family and any obstacle that will come our way we will overcome them.

He was survived by his mother and father, Stephanie and Reggie Malone, His sisters, Iesha, Rezja, Mykiya, and King Malone, His biological father Joseph Hurt, His Brother Jevon Duran, His sisters Jenette Hurt, Desha' Nae Hurt.His grandmother Velma Scott- Johnson, Grandfather Bobby Johnson. His uncle Ivy Scott, Auntie Velma scott, His longtime girlfriend Chelsey Renee. As well as a very large host of other relatives, extended family and friends.
