Pamela Brown Obituary

On March 14, 2024, our loved one, Pamela Wilhite (Brown) was called home to be with our God in Heaven.

Pamela Wilhite (Brown) was born on November 1, 1976, to Gwenlyn K. Benford and George B. Wilhite.Pamela (affectionately known as Madre, Mommy Dearest, Pam Pam, or Pamelam) received her diploma from Clovis High School in Clovis, New Mexico. She touched many hearts while working as a medical transportation bus driver for West Texas Opportunities, Inc. (TRAX) in Big Spring, Texas. Pamela wanted to be a crime scene investigator and went to school to become one, but her motherly responsibilities always came first.

Pamela was a great mother. By having a strong motherly instinct, she had a strong love for everyone. Pamela did anything she could to help those in need. Pamela loved her children deeply along with family, rescue animals, and dolphins. In her spare time, Pamela wore many hats. She had a passion for playing the flute, singing, computer programming, graphic design, and making candles.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents, George B. Wilhite and Gwenlyn K. Benford, and her beloved brother, Andre L. Wilhite.

She left behind six beloved children to grieve her passing: Jeante', Lynnell (Jerran), Lendel III, Elizabeth (Trevon), Christopher, and Jayden. Three sisters: Cherie Coffey of Clovis, New Mexico; LaToya Wilhite of Phoenix, Arizona; and Tina Fisher of Louisville, Kentucky. Four brothers: Deryck Wilhite (Jennifer) of Harrodsburg, KY; Tyson Hall of New York; Michael Garr (Erica) of Lexington, KY; and Brad Mcgill of Danville, KY. There are three grandchildren: Jaxon, Marley, and Trinity. She also leaves to mourn a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to treasure her memory. She was very loved and will be greatly missed.
