Michael C. Collier, 46, was born on October 18, 1973 in Kansas City, MO to James E. Collier and Viola Collier. He was the 2nd child of 3 siblings all of who resides in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Columbus Osler, Maebel Osler; his paternal grandparents, Issac Collier and Corrine Collier; aunt, Willie Mae; two uncles, Larry Osler and Frank Raney.
He attended and graduated from Ruskin High School, class of 1991, and later in life he received his CDL from New Reflections Technical Institute. Michael accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
Michael enjoyed being involved in the lives around him, especially his family. He had a generous and giving heart. His mother was his everything, there was nothing in this world he would not do for his mother. Michael worked for Ward Hauling, LLC, he drove locally to stay close to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, joking and entertaining. The stories, pictures, conversations, and memories are what we have cherished today in our hearts. He will be truly missed and always loved. . We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you again in Heaven. Rest in Jesus “Big Mike”.
Michael is survived by his mother and father, Viola Collier and James Collier; one brother, Anthony Collier (Tanya), one sister, Tina Collier; two nieces, Jasmine Collier, Jaelyn Davis; two nephews, Anthony Collier, Jr. and Aiden Turner; one great niece, Journee Still; step-grandmother, Zella Osler; special aunts, Iola (James Howard), Ollie Rudolph, Ida Rainey, Beverly Raney Brown, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, brother/cousins and friends.
