Melvin Lee Davis Jr.

Melvin Lee Davis Jr 21 was born March 6, 2002 in Kansas City Missouri to Melvin Davis and Nykea Rowe. He grew up in Kansas City where he attended Dale M Thomas Trails West School. He was proceeded in death by his great great grand parents Otis & Edna Davis, Irma Coleman and Melvin Beasley, Grandfather Michael Rowe, and an Aunt Naketha Coleman.

Melvin was known for his stylish swag, his huge smile, and his chill personality. His joy was infectious and his smile had the power to light up the whole room. He enjoyed his mothers loud aggressive, personalized songs to him and traveling with his dad listening to music on the car rides to Omaha. Melvin loved to be around his family and love ones. His happy place was his bedroom. His little sisters would often come in his room and lay with him and overload him hugs and kisses which he didn’t mind because it always caused him to crack that heartfelt smile.

Melvin made his transition from this life on March 11, 2023 at Alegent Health Lakeside Hospital in Omaha Nebraska. He leaves behind his mother Nykea Rowe (Marlon Buie), his father Melvin Davis (Nicole Davis) ; two sisters Octavia Manier and Leila Davis, two aunts Sharae Davis and Mykea Rowe, one uncle Deron Coleman Sr (Marchelle Coleman) two grandmothers Lateasha Davis and Venita Coleman, his God father James Miller, a very special close cousin Deron Coleman, and a host of cousins, great aunts/uncles and love ones.
