Lucile Dobbs was born in Macon, Georgia to Jim Anderson & Clara A. Anderson. Later on in life she married Gerome Dobbs on March 8, 1956 and moved to Kansas City Missouri where they settled down and enjoyed raising their beautiful family, Clara Ann, Gerome III, (GG), Rob and Steven (T).
While living in Kansas City, MO, Lucile attended Church of The Most High God, under the leadership of Bishop Fowler. Soon she moved on to Faith Mission under the guidance and leadership of Reverend Lambert. When Paster Lambert passed Lucile found her forever home at Christian Tabernacle Church of God & Christ where she was blessed to be under Bishop Emanuel Newton Sr. leadership, now under the leadership of Elder Keith Newton.
Lucile Dobbs started her employment in Kansas City Missouri at Putch’s 210 as a cook. After leaving Putch’s she went on to work at Crown Center. In 1988 Lucille stared working at Cascone’s Restaurant in Overland Park Kansas where she continued to work as a cook until she retired in 2010.
After retiring Lucile spent her time at church and hanging out with her special friends, Sister Tyler, Baby Sister, Pat Parker and her three remaining sisters. While at home she enjoyed watching her Christian television shows, cooking for her family and friends on holidays and yelling Dear! (Gerome, her husband)
Lucile Dobbs was proceeded in death by her Father Jim Anderson, mother Clara A. Anderson, brother Samuel, sisters Jimmie Ruth, Evelyne, and Ethel, and her son Gerome III, (GG).
Left to cherish her memories her Loving husband Gerome Dobbs, daughter Clara Ann, sons Rob and Steven, Sisters Hattie, Betty Jo, Delores, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
