Little Miss Londynn Patterson

Londynn Lei Patterson, 10, gained her wings on April 6th, 2024, at home in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born on July 1st, 2013 to Ceairra Hayes and Layman Patterson. Londynn grew up in Kansas City, MO. She was a 5th grader at Lee’s Summit Elementary. Londynn was witty and full of life. There was never a dull moment with her. Those who truly knew her knew she had been here before. She would say some of the darnest things. 

Londynn loved to get all dressed up, or, as she would say, “put it on." She could be going to the store and right back home. That didn’t matter. She was dressed from head to toe. She’d always be sure to sneak some of her mom’s good perfume, too. She kept a few lip glosses in her bag to ensure her lips were poppin’. Londynn also had tons, and I mean tons, of baby dolls. Those were her babies, and they went wherever she went, carseat and all. Ceairra would plead with her to only bring one, but Londynn would have two babies, an iPad, a purse, and a phone in hand, ready to go. 

Londynn truly loved all of her family. She would be ready for war behind her mom and dad. She adored her siblings and cousins. Her uncles did no wrong in her eyes. Her two aunts, or as she called them, her Tee Tee’s, depending upon the day, she was ready for them to pull up on her because they were talking too much stuff in the group chat or she wanted to be all up under them. Londynn did not play about her Grandma. She knew whatever she needed and wanted, her Grandma was going to get it. Grandma was the one who coined Londynn’s infamous nickname, Lou. It was due to her having an old soul. Remember, we noticed she had been here before?

Londynn was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Mary Larrieux (Grandma Cherry) and Mary Ann Parker. Londynn leaves behind her parents, Ceairra Hayes and Layman Patterson. Her siblings are Levi Patterson, LaMarcus Patterson, Lamyiah Patterson, Kamora Patterson, Heiress Patterson, Halo Patterson, and Layveon Patterson. Her grandparents are Joda Hayes (Tolbert Pratt), Terrill Canady, Loni Dale, and Layman Parker. Her two best friends Taylor Carter and Lamonte Barrett, and a host of other relatives and friends.
