Linda Watson Obituary

Linda Louise Watson, 68, passed away on February 26, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, in Kansas City, MO. She was born on June 4, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Fred Pascal and Marie Watson. She graduated from Central High in Kansas City. After high school she attended Wright Business School. Linda began work for B & G Maintenance as a Janitor Worker, were she worked for 10 plus years.

Linda was the third born out of 8 children. She lived with her mother and siblings in a house on 30th and Chestnut in KCMO. As an adult Linda moved to West Pennway where she raised her three children with other family members and a lot of friends that surrounded her. Linda was a great skater, loved to dance and sing, and wasn’t shy about it either. Linda loved going to the casino, she was a great spades & Domino’s player.  She would open her home to family or friends in need of a place to stay, she will cuss you out but will help you out at the same time.

At 52 years old she had a stroke, even though it affected the right side of her body that still didn’t stop her from enjoying life with her children, grandchildren and other family and friends, especially the casino. She loved spending time with her grandchildren watching movies, YouTube videos, singing, dancing, or just be goofy and laughing a lot. One of her favorite things to do was get up at 11:00am to watch The Young and The Restless or just sit in her chair while looking out of her window listening to music and laughing at the people outside.

Sunday mornings she would get up to turn on the radio and listen to church music until noon. If there was anything, she wanted she had a charming way of getting it. No was not an option.

Linda was preceded into death by her parents Fred Pascal (father) Marie Watson (mother), and brother Michael Watson.

She is survived by Clarinda Watson, Larnell Watson, Letania Watson (Children) Debra Watson, Patrica Watson, Calvin Watson, Anthony Watson, Gerald Watson, and Donald Watson (Sibling), 14 grandchildren, a host of Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
