Latrice McDonald Obituary

Latrice Deanne McDonald also known as Peaches, 45, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Latrice was born on May 19, 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri to Arthur Ray McDonald and Linda Faye McDonald Womack. Latrice graduated from North High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

After graduating school Latrice gave birth to her son Eric Dontel McDonald. Shortly after given birth she began employment working for a few retirement homes.

Latrice loved to cook and always made sure you ate. She was an amazing cook, just like her mother, she always welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm smile.

Latrice later moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota with one of her favorite aunts; Wanda Jiles in 1997, where she met the father of her daughter; Lapresha Deloris Lafaye McDonald.

Latrice adored her children and grandchildren.

Latrice A.K.A Peaches is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Garfield McDonald (grandpa) and Mamie Wyatt-McDoanld, paternal granparents; Johnie Jiles (grandpa) and Minnie Mae Thompson-Jiles (grandma), her parents; Arthur Ray McDonald (father) and Linda Faye McDonald-Womack (mother), Eric Lashawn McDonald (brother), and only sister Keyta Raynette McDonald. She is also preceded into death by her aunts, uncles, cousins and her daughter’s father; Paul Davis.

Latrice had a beautiful heart and spirit and a smile that could brighten up anybody’s heart. She was loving and compassionate. The relationship she shared with her aunt Wanda was remarkable. They were like fire and ice.

Latrice is survived by her children; Eric Dontel McDonald (Nichole Gee), Lapresha Deloris LaFaye McDonald, three grandchildren; E’nyah Sky McDonald, Jayden Akeem McDonald-Gee, Ja’Nyiah Star McDonald, two brothers; Aundre Lamont Jiles, Kenton Ray McDonald all of Kansas City, Missouri., six aunts; Wanda Jiles, Pamela Bankhead of Kansas City, Missouri., Tammy Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota., Elizabeth London, Johnie Mae Moon of Los Angeles, California., Debra Watkins of Shreveport, Louisiana., five uncles; James Jiles of Shreveport, Louisiana., Eddie Ray McDonald, Charles McDonald of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Fredrick Jiles of Los Angeles, California., Johniee Ray McDoanld of Los Angeles, California., and a host cousins, other relatives and friends.
