Kenny was born May 24, 1955 to Clamon R. Watts, and Dorthy M. Watts in Kansas City, MO and attended schools in the Kansas City, Mo School District.
Kenny worked as an assistant manager for over 18 years starting at Popeyes, then at Leawood South Country Club. Oftentimes, he would help cook at Hope Faith Ministries.
His passion was strong for the love of God, family and cooking. Kenny enjoyed cooking and volunteering for events for his family and friends, especially when he had a chance to make his signature Jalapenos burger.
He was very, competitive in anything he played, especially family games, chest, spades and dominos etc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claimon Watts Sr, and Dorothy Watts; one son, Marcus Bland; one brother, Douglas Watts; Father-in-Law, Jimmy L. Emory; and 4 sisters; Donna Watts, Brenda Newman, Alice M. Watts and Kimberly Watts.
He is survived by his wife, Towana L. Watts; two daughters Keyana L. Watts, and Rasheedah Bland; mother in law, Connie Emory; sister-in-law, Angel Emory; brother-in-law, David Jones; three brothers, Claimon Watts Jr, Steve Watts, and Charles Watts; six sisters, Alice Lewis (Rogers), Carletta Shivers (Will), Inez Watts, Marsha Watts Kirkland, Violet Munerlyn (Kelly), and Myra Watts, and a host of other relatives and friends.
