Juliano Roper Obituary

Juliano Creed Roper, a cherished ‘family Jewel’ as a son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend known for his radiant smile and adventurous spirit, was born March 19, 2000 to his mother Faith L. Roper, and passed away on March 2, 2024, in his grandmother’s arms. His life was a testament to the joy and love he brought into the world.

Juliano was lovingly raised by his grandmother, Dr. Evester Roper, whose guidance and support shaped him into the remarkable person he was. He was co-parented by his Uncle, Brandon Roper (Aimee) as "Uncle Daddy." Juliano began his formal education at Dobbs Elementary. He later attended O'hara Middle and High School, which later transitioned into St. Michaels the Archangel Catholic High School where he was in the first graduating class of 2018. He furthered his education at Longview Community College.

Uncle Otis Roper II (Erin), embraced the role of parents to Juliano's cherished younger brother, Israel Amon Roper. Juliano's relationship and travels with his cousin Otis Roper, III (Tre’) and with his younger cousins Avalon, Elora, and Riley, particularly through adventures in the local treed areas and endless hours of games with his cousin Carter Johnson, forged memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Family members and others who contributed greatly to his support and love included Ruthie Kidd, Urban Ray (Bobbie), Price and Barbara Wright, Price Wright II (Arrica), Marcus Wright (Dominique), and Collin Wright (Taylor), who often referred to him as a little brother from another mother.

Community and faith played a significant role in Juliano's life, with neighbors and friends who became like family including Charles Jones, Constance Fuller, Angie Foster, Aunt Norma Bell, Barbara Woodson (Howard), McKinley Turner (Betty), the late Ivanhoe Love (Gentry) and Marvin Nobles (Sheryl). Spiritual guidance was provided by Dr. Bobby Love (Janice) and the Second Baptist Church family of Olathe, Price Wright II and the New City Church Raytown Family, along with Bishop Benjamin & Lady Latonya Stephens and the Trinity Temple Church of God In Christ Family, He also made lifelong friendships with Orlando II, Jessica, Tyrik, Tyler, Ronald, Taylor, McKinzey, Tionna, and Ashley.

Juliano's spirit was one of kindness, generosity, and a deep love for his family and friends. Grandma says she will miss his words “I love you” everyday and his butterfly kisses at night. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the joyous memories shared. He also leaves to cherish his memory his Aunt Cleadester Oates, Aunt Hester Lucas, and Uncle Phillip Johnson.
