Julian Love Obituary

Julian Ayinde Toku Love was born to Ayinde Salu (Nigeria) and Sharon Denise Love-Herron (KCMO) on August 21, 1976 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in the Kansas City area, and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was a young child.

Julian graduated from Central High school in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the class of 1994. After high school, Julian began work for Rockhill Office Supply for several years as a valued member of his late Uncle, Floyd Love’s family business. Later in life, he obtained his CDL and worked in the area of heavy construction for many years even assisting with the construction of the BOND Bridge in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Julian was affectionately known as “Ju Ju” to his family and friends. He was a very kind, soft spoken and intelligent individual. He loved to indulge in conversations filled with wisdom, knowledge, encouragement and his number one asset was his “SMILE”. Julian was very passionate about family, entrepreneurship and embracing his culture.

On March 18, 2021, Julian departed this life in Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents Sharon Love- Herron and Ayinde Salu; sister, Olubukola Salu; his grandmothers, Ardenia Larue and Nuratu Eko Salu; grandfather, Ayinda Salu, Great Uncle, Floyd Love; Uncle, Jack Larue.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sisters, Xandria Salu Andrews, Zahra Elwell, Abisola Salu; brothers, Abayomi Salu & Robert (Robbie) Love; aunts, Jacqueline LaRue (KCMO) and Sherifat Salu Awobodu (London); uncle, Abayomi Salu (Jamaica); one niece, Simisola Lawal; three nephews: Mayowa Salu, Zien Jones, and Ayodeji Salu; special cousins; Dana Love, Floyd Love Jr (BO), Joseph (Joey) Zachary, Armaja Larue-Hill, Amber Blaise, Jaron Moore, Natalie Love, Kenney Love, Michelle Love, Genice Love, and a host of other relatives and close friends. Julian also had a one of kind connection with his Great Aunt: Rita Love.
