Jeanetta Marley Obituary

Jeanetta Marley, 48, departed this life on November 15, 2020 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, in Overland Park, Kansas.  She was born on March 7, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri to Emmanuel Boose and Willie Mae Boose.  She grew up in Kansas City. Missouri and graduated from Northeast High School. After graduating high school, she went to work in the medical field.  She loved helping and taking care of other people.  She truly touched everyone that she met, even if you only met her once.

Jeanetta was so loving, kind, and outgoing.  She enjoyed being a mother but took so much pride in being a grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was always there whenever they needed her. 

She married her husband Demond in 2016 and was a loving and devoted wife.

She rededicated her life to the Lord in April 2017 and joined Christian Charity Church. Jeanetta was an all-around sweet person and she always wanted love and hugs when she seen her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel Boose and Willie Mae Boose; and her brother, Sammy Cockshell.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Demond Marley; her daughters, Janika Smith (Jerrod, son-in-love), Rekisha Barr (Solomon); stepchildren, Demond Marley, Jr., Jalilah Darby, D’sean Marley, Dev’Veon Marley, Zaine Marley, Zaiden Marley; her brothers, David Manning (Robert) Dreyk Boose, Phillip Boose; her sisters, Shirley Douglas (John), Wanda Sanders (Salvin), Gladys Hawkins (Steve), Linda Bowden (Malcolm), Joyce Martin (Terrence); and her grandchildren, SyMaih Smith, Jaela Smith, Zyhlan Wisley Johnson, Zoeii Wisley Johnson, and Journee Smith.
