Jamagio Jamar Berryman was born on December 27, 1988 in Kansas City, Kansas to Gary A. Winters Sr. and Jennifer K. Gibson. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as an adolescent under the leadership of Pastor Christine Dunn. Jamagio received his education at F.L. Schlagle High School and later went on to receive a certification in Computer Technology.
As a young boy he loved playing with his Tonka trucks; big wheels and spiders. As Jamagio grew older he began to have a passion for fixing and working on cars. He loved the artistry of designing hair, playing his game, playing with his nieces and nephews; nagging his siblings and spending quality time with his daughter (Ja’mya). As an adolescent Jamagio joined the New Testament Pentecostal Church where he served on the usher board; sung in the choir and did special projects around the church for pastor.
Jamagio was always a light to a dark day with a favorite saying ‘WHO WANT THESE ROUNDS”!
His father Gary A. Winters Sr, Paternal grandmother Versell Winters, maternal grandmother Ida B. Berryman, maternal grandfather Roy Lee Berryman, uncles Damon Winters and Ray Belgin, aunt Veronica Berryman, cousin Latonya Winters and a nephew Gary M. Winters all preceded him in death.
Jamagio’s last chapter in his book of life was closed on September 13, 2019.
