Jackie Lee Luster was born November 2, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edward T. Luster Sr. and Jewell Luster, who both proceeded him in death. He was also proceeded in death by his two older brothers, Edward T. Luster Jr. and Robert A. Luster.
Jackie L. Luster attended the Kansas City School District where he completed his GED and completed some college. He joined the Marines on September 17, 1973, where he earned a Rifle Marksman Badge and a National Defense Service Medal. Jackie Luster worked warehouse jobs throughout his life.
Jackie Luster was a Kansas City Native who was a lifetime fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. He was a giver and loved giving to kids. Jackie was extremely passionate about life and sharing his life experiences with others.
He departed this life on January 1, 2021, at the Kansas City VA medical Center.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sue Luster (separated in 1990) of Kansas City, Mo; a daughter and a stepdaughter, Arcella Willis of Kansas City, Mo; three sisters, Alice McGinnis (Sam), Annie Bea Luster, Wanda Jean Luster; one brother, David Luster (Tina), and a special friend Florence Luster, all of Kansas City, Mo. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
