The angels heard her voice and God called her name. Eddie Mae Roberts, 96, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, died peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Life Care Nursing Facility in Grandview, Missouri. She was born on June 12, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert Howard, Sr., and Luetiscia Howard. Preceding her in death are her parents, three brothers: Charles Howard, Lerance Howard, Robert Howard, Jr; and two sisters: Lucille Williams, and Helen VanTrece.
Eddie Mae was a member of Johnson County Church of Christ. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Kansas City, Missouri. Eddie Mae worked at St. Luke's Hospital for many years until she retired.
She will be greatly missed by all. Eddie Mae leaved to cherish her memories, one son: Earl Howard, Sr; two grandsons: Earl Howard, Jr., who was her care giver until she passed, and Andre Howard; five granddaughters: Cassandra Parks-Wolfe, Sherry Howard, Sistonya Meekee, Christine Parks, Charlotte Parks, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many loving extended family and friends.
