Dihan Young-Riley

Dihan Young-Riley, 69, departed this life on January 12, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on April 21, 1953, in Kansas City. Missouri to Tommie Young, Jr, and Allene Young.

She graduated from Paseo High School.  After high school she attended Job Corp in Guthrie, Oklahoma where she received a Data Entry Certification. Dihan began working for Jackson County Circuit Court as a Judicial Assistant, where she worked for many years. She was involved in many activities in her neighborhood on 49th & Agnes.

She was preceded into death by her parents: Tommie Young, Jr, and Allene Young; her sisters: Cora Mitchell, Valrie Young; and her brother: Allen Young.

She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories, her daughter: Demetria Young-Beard (Doyle); grandson: Donovan Beard; Sue’s Kids: Deryl Ellis, Frank Powell, Jr, Jonnelle Winters; godson: Derhon Jenkins (Christina); sisters: Marshall Young, Cheryl Young, Alison Young, Tonnie Young-Coates (Robert); brothers; Michael Young, Carlton Young; lifelong brother: Cortez Hill; lifelong sister: Deborah Jenkins; her dearest friends: Gary and Perry Fonner; extend families: The Hills and The Jenkins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
