Del'von Landrum Obituary

Del’von Mark Landrum was the third child born to the union of Vincent Landrum, Sr., and Rhonda Bennett on May 21, 1988. Del’von was a graduate of Ruskin High school where he loved the sport of football. He loved his home team - Go Chiefs! After spending some time away, he understood the meaning of life. In 2019, Del’von started working for G.S.N Trucking Corporation where he loved the aspect of traveling and got to experience the joy of it, everyday! He loved shopping, and had a deep love for clothes, shoes, and Gucci belts—but as long as he got it at the right price.  He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always laughing and joking, he loved life and you could always see a smile on his face. Some would say, his pride and joy were his cars and jewelry, he was flashy yes, but if you knew his heart, you would know his true pride and joy was his family and close friends. He wanted nothing more in life than to see them happy. He worked hard for everything he had and had finally reached the dream of owning his own trucking company, Paper Chasing Transportation, LLC. He touched the heart of all that knew him. Del’von will be loved and missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Derother Landrum, grandmother Emeldia Dixon, Grandfather Bishop Carl Landrum Sr. and his uncle Eddie Bennett Jr.

Del’von leaves his loving parents Vincent Landrum Sr. and Rhonda Bennett. Three loving siblings Vincent Landrum Jr., Cymria Williams and Shakiesha Landrum-James. In addition, his grandparents: Eddie Bennett Sr. and Marshalene Landrum. His nieces and nephews: Cederick Victor Jr, Vincent Landrum III, Savannah Victor, Desire King, Desirae King and Tyler James. He is also survived by Kenneth and Stephine Landrum, Carl and Estella Landrum, Moneica Landrum, Velva and Kevin Goddard, Shavelle Howard, Greg Howard, Anthony Bennett, Meldia Bennett, Denise Slaughter and a host of cousins, friends and special friends.
