Debra Ann Wallace was born on July 5, 1956 to Jennie Wallace in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the oldest of her siblings. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Bertha Wallace; mother, Jennie Wallace; aunt, Mildred Bluford; and uncles, Roy Wallace, Roger Wallace Sr., and Larry Blue.
Debra accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age. Her primary education was with the Kansas City Missouri School District completing her diploma with a GED. She later went on to try new adventures, by enrolling in construction school to build homes but found her love and passion in driving. She drove for several different companies for many years including the Kansas City Missouri School District and the Kansas City International Airport, the Blue Bus.
Debra had a love for music like no other. When she sat in anyone’s car that had SiriusXM she knew which channels played the old school classics and the channels that played music from the 90’s to today. She wanted the music to blast while riding down the streets and highways of Kansas City. Clapping her hands and pumping her fist in the air really enjoying the sounds and beats.
Debra had a true love for her closest friends and family. She was there for their needs and extra protection with warmth and encouragement. She loved children and always helped in the care for their well-being.
Debra was a lover of bingo, playing cards, and dominos. Tonk was her favorite card game and along with playing cards she acquired a whole new family, “The Card Family”. This family meant the world to her. The friendships and time spent with them grew a bond that only a true and loving family knows.
Debra leaves to cherish her memories, one uncle, Harold (Esther) Wallace of Raytown, MO; two brothers, Rodney (Sonvia) Wallace of Kansas City, KS, and Jamal Wallace of Kansas City, MO; five sisters, Tonia (Robert) Pratt of Kansas City, MO, Sylvia (Daniel) Small of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia (Dennis) Turner of Raytown, MO, Janice Wallace of Grandview, MO, and Ashley Wallace of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews, one great niece, cousins, and her beloved card family.
