Deacon Aaron Lindsay was born May 29, 1932 to Eulan and Alberta Lindsay in Pulaski, Tennessee. He departed this earth on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Following his graduation from Bridgeforth High School, he served in Korea for the U.S. Army. In 1956 he married Delores Toliver and four years later they moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Their amazing marriage lasted 53 years until her earthly departure. They were blessed with six children: Ada, Adrienne, Ronald, Myron, Vincent, and Vonda. He was ordained as a deacon at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church under the late Pastor Earl Abel. In 1987, he left Palestine to support his son and serve as a founding member at Concord Fortress of Hope (established by Pastor Ronald R. Lindsay). His loved ones knew him as a man of love, balance, and faith. He was a God-fearing man who taught, served, and mentored with loyalty and excellence. In addition to his service as a church leader, he worked at Kansas City Power and Light and retired after 30 years. Above all, Deacon Lindsay’s legacy reflects his impact in transforming a new generation of faith leaders.
