Dannie began his life on December 8, 1967, in Michigan City, MS. He was born to Charlie Hudson and Gladys Williams-Hudson, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ishonda Williams.
At the age of 13, Dannie relocated to Kansas City, MO after the passing of his mother, after which he was adopted by his uncle and aunt, Larry, and Ester Williams, who raised him as their own.
Dannie accepted Christ at an early age and for several years Dannie was an active member of Memorial Church International under the leadership of Apostle Larry B. and Pastor Olivia C. Q. Aiken.
Dannie attended school in the Memphis Public Schools system as well as the Kansas City MO School District. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1986. He went on the further his education at Missouri Western University and later decided to enlist in the United States Army. When Dannie retired, he came home to work alongside his father, Larry, in the family business. He then went on to work for the City of Kansas City MO, having retired in November of 2022, but deciding to return to work until his untimely death.
Throughout Dannie’s life he enjoyed and was very passionate about coaching and a very committed mentor for over 30 years. Dannie was involved in several youth organizations such as KC Bull Dogs, KC Falcons, Della Lamb, and most notable, coaching the KC Ravens.
Dannie married Elizabeth “Toodie” Hudson, on May 6, 2000, and to their union, a blended family was formed.
Dannie leaves to cherish and continue his legacy, his children, Brianna Hudson of Germany, Isaac Freeman (Rosetta), Perdexter Washington, Rolondo Pitts (Jonnea), Jeremy Hudson, Angel Hudson, and Laurence Hudson all of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Rolondo, Kenzo, Khazir, Cheyenne, Tramaine, Liani, Jahlani, Jasiahm Jayceon, Jahmir, Janiyah, Jhaiyda, and Tasia; siblings, Curtis Goodman (Vivian), of Memphis, TN, Diana Williams, LaTonya Garlington (Derrick) of Kansas City, MO; special cousins, Tammi Poplar, and Artisha Williams-Danner; special brotherhood with Bryan Bruce, Melvin McDavis, and David Tillman; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
