Crista Foy

Crista Caress “Buppy” Foy, 30, was born October 25, 1992, to Annette Foy in Joplin, Missouri, and later raised by Karen Smith-Walker.  She was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School district, having graduated from Imagine Renaissance Academy.

Crista, who often went by Buppy, grew up in Kansas City, MO where she was loved by many because of her great personality and warming heart. Crista loved to travel, shop and workout. But most of all she loved spending time with her family & being a “BOSS’. After high school, Crista attended Johnson County Community college in Overland Park to become an OBGYN while working at St. Joseph Medical Center for 6 years as a Heart Monitor Tech.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Karan A. Smith Walker; and her grandparents, Mr. Emmitt Foy, and Corres T. Love Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her son, Giovanni; her wife, Thequita Foy; birth mother, Annette Foy; her sister, Courtney Smith; her brother, Mishawn Coleman; her aunt, Janet Foy; her uncle, Richard Foy; a special friend, Chauna Renee, and a host of friends and family that will miss her dearly.
