Ms. Corena Palmer Robertson was born September 15, 1948 to the late John and Evelyn Palmer in Mississippi. She was the fifth of seven children. Corena departed this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Palmer; two brothers, Olive Palmer, and John Palmer, Jr; her aunt, Annie Skinner-Rhodes (Robert Rhodes); three nephews, Kelley Kimber, Cal Ward, and Orange Palmer.
Corena was the President of the Sick & Shut in. She would faithfully call and talk to each of them until her health failed her. She loved to see people happy, often joking with everyone until you laughed. She was fun loving and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She never met a stranger. Her last day at church was September 1, 2019, she was in her wheelchair, and she was able to wheel down the aisle with the usher board. She will be truly missed from the family Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church, and most of all she was crazy about her pastor.
She leaves to mourn her passing her son’s, Marshall Robertson (Phyliss), and Carl Robertson Jr. (Imogen); her daughters, Angel Robertson (Kevin), and Michelle Robertson; four grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Kimber, and Willie Roberson; two brothers, Louis Palmer (Jennie), and James Palmer, a host of nephews, nieces, and friends,
