Clarence M. White was born on March 25, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo to the union of Clarence and Edith White. He was affectionately named Butch by his Uncle George before birth and the name has been used ever since.
Growing up with family in the closely knit community of Round Top, he experienced many diverse and affluent individuals who taught him many lifelong skills.
Butch was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public School district and graduated from Central High School in 1968. Shortly after graduation, he began work at the Ford Motor Company in Claycomo where he was employed until he had to retire due to a back injury.
Butch was passionate about cars and owned many in his lifetime. Whether he was going to car races, collecting models, restoring a classic or just tinkering around trying to get the engine to rev louder he was happy around cars and enjoyed talking about them. Butch was a master at barbecuing and an avid gun enthusiast. Many weekends were spent lighting up the grill or at the gun range. A little-known fact…. Butch loved to watch bull riding.
He was predeceased by both parents and a son Albert Young and sister Christine White.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna White, his children Anthony Cole, Whitney White, Crystal White, Maurice White and Christopher White; grandchildren Chamel Cole, Brittney Knox, Devin Woody, Raven Woody, Jalen Woody, Brittany Phillips, Syera White, Chloe White, Julian White, Shakera White, Christopher White Jr, Hadassah White.; 11 great-grandchildren, brother Vincent Westley, two nephews, two nieces and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
