Christopher Mansaw, Jr. Obituary

Christopher Marquis Mansaw Jr., was born on July 2, 2000 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charlesetta Bandy and Christopher Mansaw, Sr., whom preceded him in death.

Christopher Jr., transitioned from this life on September 3, 2020. Although his life was short live, he accomplished some major goals. He was educated through the Kansas City School district and graduated from Southeast High School. He later took on an opportunity at Wichita State University.

Christopher Jr., loved basketball, track, and a passion for making music. As a young man Christopher was baptized and became a member of Jamison Memorial Temple CME Church.

Christopher Jr., loved family especially the younger kids. He had a unique “GQ” style at a young age. He also thought he was a comedian and liked making people laugh. He overcame so many battles and learned to help others along the way.

Christopher Jr., will truly be missed and hard to forget! He left an amazing impression on everyone he met.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his mother, Charlesetta Bandy; maternal grandmother, Mabel Bandy; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Mansaw; paternal grandfather, Ambrose Barton; four brothers, Donte (Madison), Darian Jr., Marquis, DaKing; one sister, Jonniece; three aunts, two uncles, god-mother, Erika, Shanda, Arika (Stephan), Michael H., Juan (Cynthia), and Angel (Demont).

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother Rev. Mae Helen Douglas; grandfather Charles, Bandy; uncles, Lonnie Ingram, Johhny Mansaw; brother, Paris Bandy; paternal great grandfather, Harry Mansaw; great grandmother, Frances Giles, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
