Cassandra Marie Saulsberry (Hill) known as Cassie to those who loved her, was born on January 13, 1971 in Kansas City, Kansas to Samuel and Georgia Givan. Cassandra passed into eternal rest to be at peace with the Lord on December 31, 2020. As a child, she was raised in church where she was baptized and accepted Christ as her Lord & Savior. She was remembered as a fun and well-mannered child. She attended school in the Kansas City, KS School District where she attended Northwest Middle School and Wyandotte High School. She was a proud and enthusiastic cheerleader for the Wyandotte Bulldogs where she graduated in 1989.

She worked for the US Government with the Internal Revenue Service for 12 years where she was proud to be able to live comfortably and take care of her family.
Cassandra loved her family and spending time with them. She was so family oriented and absolutely loved spending time with and would do ANYTHING for (including spoil) her Grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, with some of her specialties being lasagna and African stew. There wasn’t a such thing as a quiet room if Cassie was in it.
