Caroline “Cottie” Watson-Wright was born November 8th, 1952 in Eudora, Arkansas to Red Parker and Dora Mae Hines. She was the 4th of 9 children.
She shed her physical shell and gained her glory wings on October 6th, 2020. Her mother, father, and one brother proceed her in death.
Though she was born in Arkansas, she grew up in Kansas City, Missouri attending public schools and graduating from Lincoln High School class of 1970.
Caroline was a very independent and outgoing woman who enjoyed taking care of herself and her loved ones. She worked for Chicago Title and lastly with Kansas City Title.
Through her love of life, she married and divorced twice, and had three beautiful children that she adored.
Caroline was vibrant and outspoken woman who loved her kids and grandkids immensely. She had close and very special relationship with her youngest daughter Kei’Shaun.
She loved event planning, decorating, as well as shopping and traveling with her classmates and siblings. She stayed ready to hit the road, keeping a suitcase within arm’s reach. She never let anything slow her down or stop her mission. Her heart was big and freely loved others. Her heart was genuine, and she will truly be missed.
Caroline had also just finished writing her book “STANDING TOGETHER” which will be published soon.
The love she leaves behind will continue to shine thru her children: Walter Watson Jr (LaDuna), Jacquetta “Nell” Watson, Kei’Shaun Johnson; eight grandchildren, DeLante Young, Tierra Ford, Walter Watson III, Kaleshay Dora Mae Johnson, Ka’Ovionne Johnson, Kaliyah Johnson, Keion Johnson, Kali Anderson, and two great grandchildren; five brothers, Lovell “Fox” Watson (Brenda), Barry Turk (Stacy), Larry Hines, Craig Hines (Danisha), Virgil Hines; two sisters, Betty White and Cynthia Hines; her best friend since kindergarten Theresa Taylor along with a wide host of family and friends.
