Carl Garrett, Sr.

Carl E. Garrett, Sr. passed away on August 28, 2023.  He was born to parents Earl Cole and Rosemary Garrett in Kansas City, Mo on May 10, 1948, who both preceded him in death. 

He attended Central High School and graduated in 1968.  Shortly after High School, he began working for The Bendix Corporation at the Bannister Federal Complex as a Computer Programmer until his retirement.

He attended Gethsemane New Testament Baptist Church with family and friends.

Carl Sr, also affectionately known as "Mane" was also great at Bowling. He won many trophies and averaged two 300 scored games in his Bowling era. He participated in King Louie Lucky Strike, Twin City Classic and AMF Leagues just to name a few.

In his pass time, He loved to watch his favorite shows; Charmed, Big Bang Theory, Bonanza, and his all-time favorite, WWE Wrestling which was the highlight of His Monday nights.

Carl, Jr. became his caregiver almost 15 years ago and made sure his "Pop" was taken care of until the Lord called him home.

Carl, Sr was such an amazing person. He was a favorite cousin and a dear friend to many. He was known to light up a room when He entered. 

Carl, Sr. leaves to cherish his memory, his Son, Carl E Garrett, Jr (Staci Garrett), bonus son, David Winfield, his Cousins Wanda Williams (Robert Williams) and Larry Cole, Sr. who were like his siblings, His Special friend, Carolyn House, and a host of cousins and close friends.
