Betty Haggins

Betty Rose Haggins was born November 21, 1927 to Olie “Pug” Ealom and Melinda Harper in Wellston, Oklahoma. Betty attended Wellston, Oklahoma public schools. She was employed at City Hall for a number of years until she retired to care for her mother.

Betty was a loving and caring person who spent a lot of time with her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, working crossword puzzles, and taking care of her grandchildren.

Betty married Nathaniel Haggins May 25, 1944 and to this union four children were born, James Haggins, Frank Haggins, Larry Haggins & Ethel Haggins.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her spouse, sons James Haggins and Larry Haggins Sr., daughter Melinda Harper, siblings Olie Ealom and Leonard Ealom, grandchildren Larry Ridgell, Larry Haggins Jr., and Shawn Haggins Sr.

Betty Rose Haggins departed this life on Saturday April 24, 2021, she was 93 years old.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: children Frank Haggins (Theresa), Ethel Haggins and Valeriece Ealom, daughter in-law Karen Haggins (Larry), brother Leon Ealom (Retta), 20 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 37 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends not mentioned nor forgotten.
