Barbara A, Graham

Barbra A. Graham, 66, departed this life on October 31, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on November 8, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leo Graham and Bertha Farmer-Graham.  

She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from East High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1972. After high school she attended Secretarial Trade School in Kansas City. Missouri where she received a Formal Certificate of Completion. She began working for Equitable Life Insurance as a secretary for two years.  She later on became a Day Care Owner from 1980-1991.  She became a CNA, and began working for Home Health Care from 1992-2019, and then retired.

She was the caregiver of the family as well.  She would offer her last to help all of us to get over individual problems that would make life easier.  Her heart was huge, and very loving. She was known for wearing her "Stilettos." Whatever the event was, you would see her stylish shoes, looking beautiful from head to toe.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Bertha Graham; her brothers, Calvin Graham, Eugene Graham, and Ethail Graham.

She will be greatly missed by those she leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Leon Burns, Sr., Erica Graham, Daniel Ross, and Sumayah Jackson; her siblings, Eva Graham-Rodgers, Bertha Graham Johnson, Leo Graham. Beardella Abdul-Salaam, Berzella George, and Cornelious Graham; her grandchildren, Leon Burns, Jr., Sincere Grimes, Sir Jackson, Akil Allen, Ashli Harris, and Anthony McGaught, Jr, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
