Andrew Cyril Gant was born on, August 21, 1972, in Kansas City, MO to Claudette Seals, who preceded him in death, and Marion Gant. Andrew was the 10th child of Claudette and next to the youngest of Marion. He attended and graduated from Southeast High School and entered the military, specifically, the United States Army. He was a loving father, loyal son, brother, and friend. Andrew was one to always have a word of wisdom to share and knew how to turn a profit since he was eight years of age. His presence was huge wherever he went, making his loss keenly felt by all who knew him.
His only son, Dominique Turner, preceded him in death, as well as two siblings, Lorena Harris and Edwin Bratton.
Andrew’s presence will especially be missed by: his father, Marion Gant (Marion); his daughters, Andrea Gant, Breauna Gant, Destini Bennett, and Triniti Fraction; his siblings, Michelle Bratton, Brian Bratton (LaDonna), Cecil Bratton (Stacy), Marilyn Green, Marion Wilson, Lynn Gant, Glenn Gant, Melinda Simon (Malcolm), Gilda Weber (Robert), Kelly Holliday (John), Mia Benton, Dalton Millentree, and Benjamin Watson (Nathasha). Also mourning his passing are his grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, step-siblings, and close friends who were very much like family.
