Andre'a Shelby

Andre’a Shelby, 28, departed this life on April 30, 2023, at Research Medical Center, in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on August 3, 1994, in Topeka, Kansas to Andre L. Shelby and TaKasha Taylor.

She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Ruskin High School, and then later attended Longview Community College for two years.  She furthered her education by attending Concorde Career College and received certification in Practical Nursing.

Andre’a began working for CVS Specialty as a Pharmacy Service Representative for almost two years.  She also worked for Caring Hands & Heart of Kansas City for five years as a Direct Support Professional.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother: Betty Jackson; grandmother: Elenor Shelby; Toni Johnny; step-grandfather: Robin Sanford, and Samuel G. Taylor, Jr.

She leaved to cherish her everlasting memories her parents: stepfather, Samuel G Taylor, III, and mother, TaKasha Taylor; her son, Mason Shelby; her father, Andre Shelby; grandmothers, Dorene Brown, and Edna Herring Cooper; grandfathers, Winsont Brown, and Harold Shelby, Sr; her siblings, Andria Shelby, Christopher Pyane, III. Christian Payne, AhKrista Payne, Andre Shelby, Jr.,Alezandrea Shelby, Andrene Shelby, Alera Shelby, Alejia Shelby, Quayan Taylor, Niqco Blue, and Zahaire Taylor, and a host of other relatives and friends.
