The Life of Ms. Alexis Boles
Alexis Andreá Theresa Danzel Boles was born October 5th , 1970 in Kansas City Missouri to the matrimony October 15, 1969 of Mr. & Mrs. Andrew E. & Alice S. Boles. She is preceded in death by her parents Alice (07/07/14) & “Jack” (09/04/20) Boles. Her two brothers Charles & Henry “Wayne” Boles, both maternal & paternal grandparents, Harold & Paulean Brashears, and Henry & Lurline Boles. Her great grandparents also preceded her, Walter & America Boles and E.A. & Maggie Freeman.
Alexis accepted Christ at an early age, she and her parents worshiped at the Spruce St. Matthews M.B.C. for a number of years before moving their membership to Palestine M.B.C.
She was enrolled at the prestigious Notre Dame De Sion for her elementary education, followed by Raytown South Middle School. Upon completion of jr high, in 1984 she entered Raytown South High School earning her diploma in May of 1988. She played basketball, volleyball and assisting the varsity boys’ basketball team. For her higher learning, Alexis attended University Pine Bluff Arkansas & Central Missouri State University.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters: Shirley (Calvin) Parham, Rockford, IL.; Audrey “Cookie” White, Milwaukee, WI.; and Carla Williams, Kansas City, MO. Four aunts, Bernice Boles and Latrice Davis-Smith, Ella Boles and Emma Holman all of Kansas City, MO. One uncle, HB Berry; Chicago, IL. She leaves four nieces, three nephews, seventeen great nieces and nephews, ten great-great nieces and nephews. Her sole great aunt Marie Addison of Kansas City, MO. Alexis leaves her three God children, Djuan Moore, Dijon Giles of Atlanta, GA. And Daisha Purvis; Kansas City, MO., two God sisters: Ashley Garland and Kinnidi Randolph; Houston, TX. Along with a host of cousins and adopted family she gained in her lifetime, Alexis leaves special friends; Diyon Moore; Atlanta, GA., Lisa(LaSalle) Montgomery-Bradley and Azuredee (Dee) Burns of Kansas City, MO. Lastly, but not least remembering her are former colleagues, classmates, and countless bonds of friendship.
