Ahmad Martell Cartwright, affectionately known as “Doe” or “Blow Fish” by his mother, was born October 31, 1991, to Ladonna M. Cartwright and Roger T. Bossell, Sr., in Kansas City, Missouri.  

He was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District. He attended Carver Christian Academy, Academy of Kansas City and Genesis Middle School.  Doe was a star football player at Raytown South High School, where he graduated in the Class of 2010.

He was a member of the Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ, where he was christened, baptized and served in the Youth Department. 

Doe was a construction worker and entrepreneur by profession.

Among his favorite past times were dancing, song writing and being with his family and friends.  He was an All-Star player at his favorite game, “Call of Duty”. Doe had a special love for Michael Jackson.  He was an avid sports fan with his favorite team being the Kansas City Chiefs. Doe was a jokester and the life of the party.

He was preceded in transition by his paternal grandparents; Rena Ward and Dennis Bossell, one brother; Todd Willard and one uncle; Stephen Bossell.

Doe departed this earthly life on May 31, 2021. He leaves to cherish his unforgettable memory, his mother: Ladonna M. Cartwright; father: Roger Bossell, Sr.; eight brothers: Harold Rucker, Clinton, MO., Anthony Cartwright, Donte Smith, Antoine Thompson, Armon Thompson, Roger Bossell, Jr., Mikal Bossell, Iola, KS., Dementrius Cartwright; three sisters: Antionette Thompson, A’yonna Cartwright, Jordan Dillingham, Iola, KS.; Maternal grandparents: Alta Fritz and W.C. Cartwright, Sr.; four uncles: Stephen Cartwright (Gina), Bryan Cartwright (Exselsa), W.C. Cartwright, Jr., Brian Bossell; one aunt: Carmela Bossell; eight nieces, nine nephews, three God sisters: Luz Zuno, Maria Arceo, Mikayle Fritz; two God children:  Mikiya Brooks, Mylan Haliburton; special Mom-Tee:  Lonnette Tindall-Cooper; fiancé: Cielo; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
